"The Bunny Queen!" No, that's not Gigawatt, Megavolt's female counterpart from the "Switchverse"...that's Megsy himself, in drag. (Which seems to be a rather popular subject among people who draw him, so, having the twisted sense of humour I do, I guess I HAD to fall onto that particular bandwagon sooner or later... :P) But in this case, I didn't just draw him in a dress for the heck of it, out of the _air_...this picture is based off of a very funny (but strange) story called "Lighthouse". It's a "Labyrinth" parody in which all the characters are played by Darkwing Duck characters, with Megavolt himself playing David Bowie's role as the Goblin King...only instead of being the Goblin King, his title is named after something that's considered scary and horrifying in the Darkwingverse...Cute Little Lost Bunnies! So, he's the Bunny King...or WOULD be, if he hadn't decided that he wanted to "explore his femininity" during the time period of the story and call himself the Bunny QUEEN instead. :P And the Lighthouse of the story's title is taking the place of the castle at the center of the Labyrinth. Megavolt aka the Bunny Queen kidnaps Gosalyn and says that if Darkwing (who is playing SARAH'S role!) doesn't rescue her within 13 hours, he'll make Gosalyn like himself (give her electrical powers) and she'll help him take over the world. (Naturally, this being GOSALYN we're talking about, she LIKES this idea and instead of being frightened of her fate, she keeps _bugging_ Megavolt to "Give me my powers already! Come on!")
This picture is based off his first appearance; in which he was wearing "a white dress" and carries a light-bulb in the same way that David Bowie carried "just a crystal, nothing more..." (and with a hilarious parody of the _line_ from that point in the movie, too.)--and wearing a fluffy blonde wig. Not much was said about the dress so I felt free to interpret it my own way...notice the lightning bolt decorations and electric-blue trim. (Not to mention the "electric blue" eyeshadow and press-on nails. ;)) He still has his plug-hat over the wig, and his battery and socket have been shrunk down and transformed into jewelry. Hee. When I change something to a different version, I always like to leave _hints_ of the original in there somewhere...
Also, I drew him looking _furry_ in this picture, for some reason...because I could, I guess. (shrug) Every time I draw any version of Megsy with his goggles _off_, so that you can see his eyes with their proper colours, I always draw the eye that _does_ have an iris as being blueish-green--I'm not sure what's up with that. But between this picture, the colour version of the "Darkwing Proton!" one, "Sailor Gigawatt", and the picture of Elmyra Sputterspark, Before, that seems to have become the eye-colour that I've pretty much settled on, for him.
