"Um...okay, so maybe bringing a METAL sword to a fight with an ELECTRICAL guy _wasn't_ the world's best idea..." Darkwing Doubloon seriously rethinks his choice of weapon in this picture, somewhat based off a scene in the episode "Darkwing Doubloon". (duh). I have yet to see ANY other fan-art based off of this episode, so as far as I know I'm being fairly original. :) Anyway, there _was_ a scene in which Darkwing and Megavolt (briefly) duelled with each other while standing on a boom, high up above the deck, in the rigging, etc.--very properly pirate-movie-ish--but as far as I can recall, Darkwing Doubloon was _never_ actually stupid enough to try to "clash" his metal sword with Megavolt's electrical one...he just said something sarcastic about Megsy's "magnetic" personality and threw some magnets at him. But, having the sick sense of humour that I do, I decided to draw what would happen if he WAS stupid enough to cross swords with pirate-Megavolt. :P (It's not that I dislike Darkwing, by the way...I just felt like being silly.)
